Our spray-on concrete application is an effective overlay system that creates a low cost, low maintenance product with minimal disruption. The spray-on concrete system can revive worn concrete slabs or tarmac areas and give it the beautiful effect of a new decorative concrete surface which is non-slip and highly durable.
We recommend that you have your imprinted concrete resealed every 3-5 years, depending on use. If this is not done the concrete can become dull. We offer a full refurbishment and resealing service.
Yes, expansion gaps are recommended by British Standards for concrete installations. They minimise the risk of surface cracks as they absorb the natural movement that occurs in land.
No, the colours will not fade. The sealer protects the colours from the suns harmful UV rays. However, dirt can take its toll on the sealant which may give the appearance of a faded colour. This can be restored to its original state with a simple clean and reseal.
Most domestic installations take on average a week. However, factors such as size and weather determine this.
Weather permitting, we install all year round.
Once the installation has finished you can normally walk on the concrete withing 3 hours depending on the weather conditions. Before parking a car on the concrete we advise you wait a minimum of 48 hours.
If a pattern concrete driveway or patio is laid correctly and occasionally resealed it should last a lifetime.
Pattern imprinted concrete has a textured finish which provides grip. Traction is also aided by the final sealant which included an anti-slip compound known as rhino grip.
Occasionally, a skip may be necessary to remove waste from excavation.
The risk of cracking can never be completely ruled out with any type of concrete paving. However, this risk is massively reduced by the expansion gaps that we install. In our experience, if a crack develops it will usually remain barley visible.
